We will be hosting a book signing with author N. E. Brown featuring her Indignities series, co-authored by her daughter S. L. Jenkins.

The series is set in Galveston in 1900 and follows the life of Catherine Eastman, a resilient young woman who is orphaned soon after arriving in the port city. The man who murdered her mother will soon pose a threat to her even as she finds love, romance, and marriage with the dashing suitor who liberates her from the orphanage.

Ms. Brown worked in the business world for forty years before embarking on her career as a writer. She does most of the historical research while her daughter, S. L. Jenkins, brings the edgy thriller aspect to the stories. Their collaboration creates a historical fiction with a contemporary spin.
